Sirenians include the manatees and dugong. A recently extinct species was the Steller's Sea Cow.

Extant species are

* Hydrodamalis gigas (Dugong)
* Trichechus inunguis (Amazon Manatee)
* Trichechus manatus (West Indian Manatee)
* Trichechus senegalensis (West African Manatee)
